AMON AMARTH: Deluxe Reissue Of 'The Avenger' Detailed

After the successful re-release of the AMON AMARTH debut album, "Once Sent From The Golden Hall", Metal Blade Records has announced the details of the band's second reissue of the year. "The Avenger" two-disc deluxe re-release is due in Europe on May 25 (May 22 in Germany).

"The Avenger" will be released again as a double-popup-digipack containing two discs. Disc one features the entire "The Avenger" album remastered plus the bonus track "Thor Arise". Disc two features the live recording of the show AMON AMARTH played on December 29, 2008 in Bochum, Germany where teh band performed the album in its entirety. The order of songs is the same as on disc one (excluding "Thor Arise").

This reissue (and all the other ones to follow up later in the year) will be released as an eight-sided double-digipack with individual pop-up. All four pop-ups attached to each other show a special three-dimensional picture. The reissue also features liner notes by singer Johan Hegg.
